Main challenges
Main challenges
No visual identity
I took on the challenge of joining SuaQuadra’s Founding Team in a context where not even a visual identity existed yet. I started from scratch—from building the brand to designing the product itself.

One-girl team
At only 22, I was the first designer hired by the company. Therefore, I aided the process of hiring my own Design Lead, Cadu Ferreira, to help structure the team.

Early stage
We had very little resources (money and time) to make things work. Our mantra was to do more with less.

Stage 0: Branding
Stage 0: Branding
Working alongside other professionals from Polar, Ltda., I supported the branding process for SuaQuadra ahead of its PR launch.
We redesigned the logo, redefined the main color palette and typefaces, planned Instagram content, built a proprietary image bank, and launched the brand at ABF — the world’s largest franchising expo.
Working alongside other design and marketing professionals from Polar, Ltda., I supported the branding process for SuaQuadra ahead of its PR launch.
We redesigned the logo, which had initially been created as a temporary solution by an outsourced studio, redefined the main color palette and typefaces, planned Instagram content (both visual and written), built a proprietary image bank, and launched the brand at ABF — the world’s largest franchising expo.
Stage 1: Ideation
Stage 1: Ideation
I kicked off the platform ideation process by going beyond the desk — literally. I visited 17 commercial properties and spoke directly with both owners and potential tenants (small business owners looking to rent) in order to map out their biggest pain points within the commercial rental process.
These early field insights were essential to shaping a digital experience that not only aligned with the brand’s purpose, but also became grounded in real user needs.

Stage 2: Prototyping & Validation
Stage 2: Prototyping & Validation
During the prototyping phase, I worked closely with developers at different experience levels — which meant lots of collaboration, patience, and adaptability to keep everything on track. It was a hands-on, learning-rich process. Only after our Design Lead joined, were we able to truly refine the experience and finally launch the website.

Thank you.
